Education/Work History:
I graduated from Penn State University in 2017 with an M.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering. Driven by a deep interest in visual design, I taught myself various design software and 3D modeling techniques. I’m grateful that my career allows me to combine science and art—two passions that inspire me. Science is fascinating, and it’s a pleasure to help scientists make their work more accessible and engaging through visual storytelling.
In addition to my work in scientific visualization, I’m also a freelance lifestyle photographer who enjoys capturing emotive moments of children and families.
What projects do you specialize in?
I am a scientific illustrator in our team that helps scientists “translate” their complicated research into easy-understanding illustrations. I design 2D/3D graphics for their publications, proposals, and journal covers.
Who or what are your creative inspirations?
I’m a wife to a scientist and a mother to two sweet kids—a lively boy and a cute girl who always inspire me with fresh ideas. I like watching design tutorials, Lego, furniture hacks, and all kinds of DIY.
