Our Artificial Intelligence Ethics Policy
As technology evolves, so does our team. But our commitment to being a trusted, ethical partner does not change. We may leverage AI in specific, thoughtful ways as we engage with your work without relying on it to do any substantive creative work or infringing on any of your proprietary data. In return, we ask that you do the same and consider the creative intellectual property that we produce.
How our team might use AI:
- Our team may use AI as a brainstorming tool for new ideas and concepts. Sometimes AI can spark an idea on which we can expand and improve.
- Our team may use AI to generate an initial summary of funding opportunities, which we may use to start getting acquainted with the solicitation. Though we thoroughly evaluate the requirements of each solicitation ourselves, sometimes it is nice to start with a high-level summary before we develop a proposal writing outline.
How our team WILL NOT use AI:
- We will NEVER put your proposal, work, or any sensitive information into AI systems for any reason whatsoever.
- We will not use AI to create graphics for your team. All graphics we provide are a product of our human creativity.
- We will not generate any proposal narrative, including supplemental documentation, using AI.
In return, we ask that you also uphold ethical AI guidelines, including the following:
- Please do NOT put any of our created graphics or visual markers into AI. Our designs are a direct result of our innovation, and we value the integrity of our creative process. Given its structure, posting images into AI may unintentionally share it with the broader internet and input the design as training for the algorithm. This raises concern for future, though unintended, plagiarism.
